Contacting local patients for their input
Need to find a physician in Tulsa or close to Tulsa to assist me
I am new to this website, have been dealing with my auto-immune disease for approximately 30 plus years. I have had no success finding a physician in Tulsa to consult with, I am asking if any Tulsa or those in surrounding areas have a physician that are assisting them and would speak to me. Thank You.

Hi CG. I checked, and we only have one doctor on the doctors list for OK. I'll send the info to you by PM, upper right, but the note for this doctor says he may not be taking new patients.
What you might do is try to bring up the list of members for OK. There are several ways. You could click on the 'Members' button, upper right, and on the 'USA' after someones name there. When the picture of the US comes up, click on OK. Then you can send those that have the most posts a PM (private message) to discuss the possibility of a doctor in OK. If you click on a persons name in the OK members' list, you will have the opportunity of either sending a PM, or looking at their profile. It might help to click on their profile first, then the tab for posts, and look at the most recent post by them to see if they are currently on the MP or were ever on the MP.
You might also put your general location in your profile, as this is an important piece of info for us. Click on the 'My Account' button, upper right, and the 'Profile' tab, fill in the line for location, then click on 'Save'. After that, you can click on the word 'Oklahoma', under your name on the left, and that will also bring up a list of members in OK.
Welcome to our forums, Cynthia

Locating a physician
New to Marshall protocol
I am intererested in pursuing the Marshall Protocol for my auto-immune disorder. I have requested numerous times the name or names of a physician in Tulsa, Oklahoma or surrounding areas that are treating patients with the Marshall Protocol. The ONLY physician name I have received is for a physician in Wagoner who is NOT accepting new patients. Is there anyone in Tulsa or the surrounding areas that are being treated with the Marshall Protocol and who is your physician, I am very frustrated at my lack of progress and the lack of information. Thank You.

Unfortunately, there isn't 1/10 the number of doctors we would like to have on our database as many doctors are still "shy" when it comes to new therapies and the ones we do have are usually overworked.
Progress in medical circles moves at a snails pace, in many towns the doctors refuse to learn anything new unless the info comes from a drug rep and there is a kickback and we have to wait for them to retire before new information can be used in the area.
All we really ask of a doctor is they write a script and don't do anything silly if you have an accident requiring treatment, the rest can be handled by us in the form of education and councilling and time does the rest.
When searching for a doctor, always approach someone fresh out of med school, they are the most open to new information and if they agree to prescribe make sure they have the basic info and the E.R. sheet and encourage them to contact the site so we can help them to learn more about the latest info and where to access it.
Best,
Keith.

Thank you all for your input, but I am also hoping in the interim to connect with some local folks that are involved in this protocol. I am hoping to connect with local patients also and become involved with a support group. It has been a hard time as you know and any encouragement or advice would be greatly appreciated! Is there a place to go to for searching for a list of folks in my area of Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma?
Thank you again for your reply and information!

your best bet is to Right click on Oklahoma in your Location
the 2 page list that appears also gives the # of times they have made contact, so those with a large number of posts may be your best bets
