| Veneers placed 8/09. Immediately, I could feel a irregular reaction, biofilm was constructing a defense structure with bacteria bonding, cementing, having sharp bacteria that prevented tongue from trying to remove. Continued to worsen, weight loss, sleeplessness, relationship issues, anxiety. I have seen, at least, 10 professional healthcare people including the president of a University of Dentistry. None have been helpful. Only 2 or 3 have displayed compassion. I have a strong cardiovascular disease history. I am getting ready to retire within next year. I hope you can help me. I plan to take information to my primary doctor as soon as possible. After finding your site, at least, I have hope. Thank you for any information. I had veneers placed 6 years previously and that is why I knew this 2nd procedure was going toward disease and away from homeostasis. Last edited on Mon Feb 20th, 2012 16:24 by sami0110

I am not sure what veneers are, but the concept of plaque on the teeth being biofilm is not new here. I will say that my normally heavy plaque on the teeth went into over drive when I started the MP (Marsha Protocol). I like to view it as bacteria, in response to the immune system going after them, escaping thru the salivary duct and taking up residence on my teeth.
There is a method of tooth brushing that does an incredible job of removing plaque, and I didn't believe it possible until I tried it. I now can keep up with the plaque, and not wear my teeth or gums out doing it.

Look for Marion Villa's first post about 70% of the way down this page.
The cardiovascular disease suggests TH1 disease, and that is something you need to look at the MP for. Many have seen changes for the better in their plaque deposits also, after some time on the MP. I am looking forward to a time when that happens for me.
If you haven't found it already, here is the info site you will need to do a lot of reading on.

I have had a lot of gum problems since starting the MP. This kind of toothbrush has helped:

I have also started using a mouthwash of diluted hydrogen peroxide mixed with a small amount of bicarbonate of soda.

| Have you considered Biotene BPF? It is a mouthwash specifically made to destroy biofilms and from what I've read, it works wonders. Last edited on Tue Jun 26th, 2012 19:00 by DutSucks
