HI everyone
I have just joined up so I hope I am getting this discussion thing right. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis 3 yrs ago. The last 3yrs have been hell, I had to quit my job because my symptoms were so bad, and it has had a profound effect on my family. I am in New Zealand and have had a major battle with actually trying to get any real decent help from doctors, they don't seem to know much about it here. I have been in and out of hospital so many times over the last 3yrs I couldn't even guess how many times any more. I have seen numerous specialists and had so many test done and the only treatment I have had is being put on steroids, which sometimes helps in the short term, but then I fell even more exhausted after I finish a course of these, and have put on a lot of weight because of them. I made the decision to not go on steroids anymore as the side effects far out weigh the benefits as far as I am concerned.
I suffer from chronic fatigue, fevers, headaches, swollen and painful joints, aching legs, uveitis, chronic sinusitis, chest pain, respiratory problems, stomach problems and swollen glands.
I am now suffering from depression, because this has been going on for so long, I would love to hear from anyone who has some advice on how to best manage this please, please.

Fee, welcome. Have you found this web site yet, http://mpkb.org/ ? We are here to help people with learning about and starting the Marshall Protocol. It is very effective for numerous chronic and auto immune diseases including Sarcoidosis. It is curative, not just palliative. Steroids may give the lucky people remission, but in general remissions don't last, or are replaced by another serious disease. This is because the steroids suppress the immune system, when the root cause is systemic infection of many species of microbiota. Hence, suppressing the immune system is not really what you want to do. Please look seriously at this protocol. It is not easy and it is not quick, but it will eventually get you your health back, and there is plenty of reading you will be required to do.
If you will go to your profile, 'My Account' button, upper right, and the 'Profile' tab, and put your general location in your profile, it not only helps us to give you answers that are appropriate to your area, but you will see your location under your name in the left column of any post. Then you can click on the word New Zealand, and the forum will give you a list of all the members in New Zealand. I believe there are a few.

I also have been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. I was diagnosed about 8 years ago. Since then I have developed kidney stones that are ruining my life. I have also recently been having heart troubles. Is there a doctor in Vermont, USA that would work with me on this. My urologist treats the kidney stones, my cardiologist treats my heart problems but no one is treating the sarcoidosis. Please help me.
They have tested my calcium levels and they are very high.

Hi zodiacofire
I suggest that you start a new question, under you own alias, by using the button called 'new topic' and not use this thread which was started by 'fee'.
Have you read or studied the Marshall Protocol Knowledge Base at http://mpkb.org/ ?
Have you read this thread about requesting a doctor in your area ?
