My son has just had about 22cc's of blood drawn for testing purposes (he's 32 #s and that respresents a good amount of his total blood volume), I wonder - is there any need to cut back on the benicar until that blood volume is replaced? Is there any additional risk of dizziness or faiting (or worse)? Should I increase his salt intake? Any other precautions or obsrevations anyone could share? Many thanks...

Sreamer, do you mean he's 32kg?  If so his total blood volume should be over 2 litres (2000cc), so the 22cc drawn is a very small fraction and I wouldn't worry about it.  Even blood donors, who give considerably more than this, replace their blood volume within a few hours.

Don't change his medication without consulting your doctor.

Actually I did mean 32 pounds rather than kg's. Does that change things? I have a call in to the doctor but wanted to hear the community's response if there was one. Thx

That's about 14.5kg, but he should still have around a litre of blood, so 22cc will still be a small fraction.  But I'm no expert in this sort of thing, so do consult your doctor if you're concerned.

My son recently came into contact with a cat and broke out in hives and bumps on his skin; prior to starting the MP he never had any such reaction. My question is: is this something I should address with increased benicar, decreased Mino? Vice versa? Any insights on how to manage (we're getting rid of the cat in two days) this in the short term would be especially helpful.

It sounds like herx, if he's never had it before.  Follow the advice in My herx is too strong.  See also Is it an allergy or is it an immune system reaction?
