After reading Dr. M's concerns about aspartame I switched to splenda/sucralose.  I can't tolerate the stuff.  It gives me burning feces with blood around my anus.  Likewise I'm lactose and fructose intolerant too.  All other artificial sweeteners taste horrible to me (stevia, xyulose, etc).  I think I have to go back to aspartame which doesn't cause me any digestive problems.

There is a sweetener formulation called "Stevia in the Raw" which tastes much better (IMO) than other Stevias, and doesn't have the intolerance problems of sucralose.

The packets work out fine, don't know about the bulk product

Hi Dr. M,

I'm a supertaster and "Stevia in the Raw" still tastes somewhat bitter.  It is tolerable, though very expensive.  I'll try it for a few days and see how it works out.

Funny how many of these sugar replacements taste like sacharine.

My body is doing much better off sucralose.

After a day I've acclimated to the bitter taste so it's a good substitute.  Thanks Dr. Marshall.
