I am presently on Benicar without antibiotics. I just wanted to check on my Benicar dosage: I'm taking 40mg every 6 hours via intestinal absorption and 20mg at the in between mark sub lingually.
Example: 6am 40mg intestinal.... 9am 20mg sub-lingual... 12 noon 40 mg intestinal.
How does that sit with the present research?

You dosing falls within the current guidelines and seems sensible for someone who benefits from the palliation of the Benicar. :)

Have you checking into some of the MP knowledge base articles on olmesartan? (See http://mpkb.org & search on olmesartan.)

Have you had any experience with people that have had sleep apnea? And if so, in your experience, does their oxygen level in the blood improve after being on the MP

I know people on the MP often report having sleep apnea. I'm not sure what types of improvements have been seen because we don't have the funding to track all the various symptoms reported by members on the sites. :?

Did you try using the search box (upper right of page)?

The ENT Dr. wants me to take Unasyn (Sultamiciline Tosilate)for sinus drainage. I can't find it on the No No list. Can anyone help me with this?

It is not recommended to routinely take the sub-lingual dose. That is for special cases like neuro-herx including mood swing, panic, paranoia or anxiety attacks.

Sinus discharge sounds like IP (herx) to me.  I still have some occasionally in phase3 and now I am temporarily down to Mino alone. I had a lot of sinus problems fifty years ago, my first treatment with penicillin which probably caused the acculation of L-form bacteria I now have to MP against !

The way I see it, it is best to choose from the Yes list and avoid anything that is not discussed on the site at all....
in other words, if you took Sultamiciline Tosilate, you would be the first to do so and the first to describe any complications or bad effects it could cause you.
hope that helps you decide
Sallie
