My oldest son and I have been on MP for about 1 1/2 years with success. Today, I brought my two younger children to get blood tests for 1,25 D and 25D. I was informed that my hospital has changed laboratories from Quest to Mayo labs. I was also informed that due to recent testing and procedural advancements, the 1,25 D blood test no longer needs to be frozen. The lab tech said per Mayo laboratories that the new advanced testing no longer requires the sample to be frozen and the error rate is less than that of Quest. Mayo labs is listed as a trusted lab on the MP site. I'm wondering if MP moderators are aware of the new testing procedures and if the results are accurate.
Thanks
Cathy

Thanks, Cathy. The 1,25-D samples absolutely have to be handled carefully, in addition to being frozen.
I have removed Mayo Labs from all places I could find them on our sites, please let me know if you find any remaining inference that they are OK.
This is a slip-up on our part, sorry for the inconvenience.
