My 1-25 D test results are42 pg/ml and my 25-D is 23 ng/ml. The lab work was sent to the Mayo clinic and their 1-25 D normal lab range is 18-78. I am an nutritionist and have been reading for a long time how important it is to not be deficient in Vit D so I have been taking Vit D supplements for a long time about 4 years. So I was very surprised that my 25-D results indicate that I am actually deficient in Vit D. I believe I have CFS. My ratio is 1.83 but, since I have been taking Vit D supplementation what would my actual ration be? Anyway of knowing. I supplement with 2,000 mg/day in winter and 1,000 mg/day in the summer months.
