Welcome to the forum, Valentin si aura
The basis of MP is Olmesartan Medoxomil which is not an antibiotic.
There are a very few antibiotics which can be used at times while on the protocol. The principal one of these is Minocycline
This ARB is different from all other ARBs due to the molecular shape. The molecule acts to help regulate the VDR, which in some people has become gradually blocked, partly due to the ability of some microbes to produce ligands reducing the VDR's immune and endocrine functions.

As far as I know the medication is unusually safe, but not safe for foetal development.
Women who need to use olmesartan must avoid pregnancy.

However, please note many patients who maintain their commitment to MP have been rejuvenated. The previous reference contains a quote from Professor Marshall
One of the MP cohort had been infertile for 15 years, but became pregnant at age 45, 6 months after starting the MP. She stopped to deliver and wean the baby and is now back on the MP.
I also noticed a few postmenstrual women have reported on the MPSS (in progress threads not open to public view) that they recommenced menstruation after a few years on the MP
It is essential for intending participants in MP to read for themselves and understand the protocol before they begin taking Olmesartan (and be sure to check they use the correct formula)
It is highly recommended for starting participants to report regularly, weekly at commencement
regards
Sallie

MP is Marshall Protocol, and this is the treatment that this site was created to help people with. You can read about it here, http://mpkb.org/ .
The main medication for the above treatment is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) called olmesartan. It alone, of all the ARBs, is a vitamin D receptor (VDR) agonist, and will increase the activity of the immune system to gradually, over some years, remove the bacteria and other microbiota that are the cause of autoimmune and chronic disease. The protocol is a very serious undertaking, and the patient can expect to feel worse before eventually feeling a lot better.
The MP is not an antibiotic (ABx) protocol. Some patients use small pulsed doses of ABx if their immune system is responding too sluggishly to the olmesartan, but many have a very active immune system on the olmesartan, and don't need the ABx, and in fact can not use the ABx, because the olmesartan can potentiate (make stronger) the ABx so much, that even a very tiny amount of ABx can cause too much immune activity.
Please spend some time reading on the site I gave you a link to. This reading is mandatory for those considering going on the MP.
MP=Marshall Protocol
ABx=Antibiotics
VDR=vitamin D receptor
Welcome to our forums, Cynthia
