My lipids are very high and my CRP is 4.3.  However my sed rate is normal at 9.  If I have high lipids due to the inflammation, why is my sed rate normal?

I am interested also in hearing from anyone that has experienced dramatic improvement in their lipids. I need some encouragement.  In addition to my high lipids/CRP, I also have LP(a), a known marker for early heart disease.

How does one differentiate from a genetic lipid problem and a inflammatory problem causing high lipids? My maternal grandmother had strokes, and my father had strokes.

Thank you, I have read that, but I didn't (and don't) see how it addresses the questions I had, which have to do with how I could have a normal SED rate and yet have high lipids (?).   My CRP is 4.3.  My Cholesterol is 318, LDL 196, Triyglyercides 300+ and my sed rate is 9.  Should they all be high if the high values are being caused by the inflammation of sarcoidosis?

Hello, Deedee!

I had many blood marker issues that normalized with the protocol.  This reference, as well as the numerous links within, may be of interest regarding your inquiry.

What do my lab tests mean?

Best to you! . . . Carole  :)
