Hi all,

I am writting on behalf of my mom. We are Venezuelans, she lives in Caracas and I live in London. She is currently staying with me for a few month and she ahs been diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

I have reading a lot this website increasing my hopes of getting a better life standard for my mom. Just need to find now a doctor either in UK or Venezuela that is familiar with this treatment and can help her to go through the steps. Does anyone have any contacts? London is the preferable location as she staying with me for other 4 months.

Thanks in advance.

Carlos

Fergus,

Thanks for following this up. I never got a response. She is seing very good doctors in Venezuela and using an Ozone treatment that it seems to be working wonders. It is great as my mom is only in ehr early 50s.

Still keen to know about any doctors here as she come and visit often.

Regards,

Carlos

PS Strange enough, one of the people that works for me got diagnose of the same thing just months ago - as she is vary young it seems to have mild symptons. However she is struggling to find the right support ehre in the UK for it. So any info you might ahve it would be more than welcome

Oh dear it's a shame you did not get a reponse-it makes me think this web thread may be a waste of time as I too am having no luck so far.  I would be interested to know what an Ozone treatment is.  Could you be kind enough to give me some info.

Well, the exact translation is ozonotherapy. The treatment is called the self-vaccine, they take some of your blood, mix it with ozone, and they inject this back. Apparently there is a more extreme treatment done via transfusion (Sort of dialisys with ozone... I guess). I hope it makes sense. Happy to stay in touch if you suffer of the smae thing or have family/friends with this terrible and unknown disease.

Carlos, did anyone point you to the thread to ask for the doctors list for your area?
Requesting a list of area doctors (please click here)  We are all volunteers here, so your post may have slipped by us.  Sorry for that.

For both of you, Carole, our person responsible for answering your requests for the doctors list, has been very busy lately with moving, so she is probably behind on the responses to your requests, so just be patient if you can.

When considering other treatments other than the MP, you may wnat to check out this page on the MPKB.org site:

Thanks Cynthia! We do have a GP when I am around in my area. I was wondering if anyone knew about someone specialised in Fybromalgia.

Cheers,

Carlos

We have no way of knowing anything about fibromyalgia specialists.  We are only interested in those that are willing to help patients with the Marshall Protocol (MP), and there are no specialists in the MP.  The best we can hope for with doctors and the MP, is that a doctor is willing to think/work out of the box.  That is why it is so important for the MP patient to read, read, read, and know the MP extremely well.  For most situations, the patient knows more about the MP than the doctors doing the supervising.

Hi Cynthia-I did not realise my PM were read by MP board members (ie you!) or I would have made it clear that I have had a good response from you and another couple of people who have responded.  What I was refering to was; I sent some PM to people in the UK and did not have any luck with a response from most of them.  I really do want to get on with this as I do belive it is the right thing for me and am getting a bit frustrated.  Now I know the person who deals with the doctors list is busy I will wait and be patient.  I still do not understand why I get PM from people posting their locations on the doctors list? Have I done something wrong, should I post another request maybe ?

Thanks Carlos - It sounds interesting about the Ozone treatment and if I cannot get onto the MP I will look into it further, although it sounds too radical for GP's here in the uk !  I would like to know as much about it for interests sake if you can pass anything on about how the Ozone actually works as I am looking for a cure not a relief of symptoms.  Hence my interest in the MP

I look forward to hearing about how your mum gets on and I will keep you informed of any developments here re Docs in the UK for the MP as maybe you could help your friend at work get better if her syptoms worsen.

Thanks for getting back to me - much appreciated

No, I actually don't have the necessary permissions to read other members' PMs, unless they are addressed to me.  I don't think that the moderators that do have the capability will read other peoples PMs, unless it there are indications of abuse of the system by a member.

Any member can PM any other member, and, in this case, maybe it is the blind hoping to be lead by the blind.  It is too bad the system in the UK is so discouraging to doctors that are independently minded.  I understand that at least one member leaves the country to see an MP willing doctor.

Maybe you should forward some of these PMs to me to see what it is you are telling about when you say you are getting PMs from people posting on the doctors list.

Hi Cynthia - I get an email in my personal account to say I have a new PM which is a link to the "Doctors list" @ cure my... and when I go there it is the latest person to request a doctors list.  I do not know how I can forward you that - if you can tell me I will.  I have put in another docs request just in case it went to my old user name.

Thanks

Fergus

Fergus, please check your inbox for the list that I sent to you via a private message (PM).  Regarding the messages that you have been receiving as others post their requests, you have the option to "turn off" that notification.  Please refer to the "unwatch topic" button to edit your preferences.

Best regards and thanks to all for your patience as I manage my volunteer duties during my relocation! . . . Carole  :)

Thanks Carole for spotting what the problem was.  So, for those having the problem, there are two ways to stop getting email notification of a new post in any thread you are getting them for, and don't want them.

You can go to the thread, and look at the bottom of the page.  There will be a button on the left, 'Unwatch Topic', and clicking it will stop the emails.  But also note that the topic then changes to 'Watch Topic', so that if you ever want to get emails for a thread, that is where you can activate that function.

Or, you can click on the My Account' button, upper right, and you will see a list of all the threads you are watching.  There is a box in front of each, and checking these boxes and then clicking on the 'Remove selected' will stop the emails.  BUT, do NOT check the box in front of YOUR question or report thread, as this is what you want to always have both a notice of new posts in YOUR thread, and you want this link to be in the 'My Account' page, so if you lose track of where your thread is you can always go to this page, click on the link, and get to where ever your thread is.  Your thread might get moved by the moderators, so that is your backup way to find it.

Cynthia

Hi Carole - I checked my inbox but no PM from you in there yet.  Hope the move went well and get sorted before you worry about replying to me.  Did you send me a PM and I have not got it ?  Maybe I am doing something wrong if so.  I have turned the watched topics button off to stop me getting the other peoples requests.  No wonder you are busy-lots of people looking for MP docs all over the world!
