Your signature line is required so members of the support community have adequate information to respond to your posts. Whenever you update your signature line, it will change what is displayed on all of your posts, both past and current.
When you have a new 25D test result, or other change, be sure to post your new information in the body of your progress thread as well as editing your signature line.
Tips for composing your signature line: Choose your content carefully. There is a limit of 255 characters and readers will appreciate clarity with brevity.
Limit your signature to 2-3 lines. Leave a space between key words to allow lines to break periodically. Continue typing on the same line to avoid too many short lines.
Abbreviate only when meaning is not lost when doing so.
It is recommended that you compose your signature line in a file on your own computer and save a copy of your signature for your own records. (Just in case it's lost in cyberspace at some point.)
Your signature will appear at the bottom of each of your posts when you click 'reply' even though it does not appear in the reply window when you are typing a message.
Your signature line should include the following, in this order: 1. Diagnosis (or key symptoms if no diagnosis)
2. Initial 1,25D (if available) in pg/mL with date.
Please convert units if necessary (See 1,25D units of measurement).
3. Start date of the phase one; e.g. Ph1Mar07
4. Start date of modified phase 2; e.g. ModPh2Jun07
5. Start date of phase 2; e.g. Ph2Dec07
6. Start date of phase 3; e.g. Ph3Jun07
7. Latest 25D in ng/mL with date; e.g. 25D12 (Dec07)

To edit or create your signature line: 1. Click the green 'My Account' button (found at the top right of each page).
2. Click the green 'Profile' tab in the middle of the page. (This button is hiding just below 'Watched Topics')

3. Type your information in the last row, to the right of the column labeled "Signature:".
4. Click 'Save' on the bottom of the page.
5. Check one of your posts to see that all information has been saved.
Do not include:List of medications. (Report these each week in your progress report.)
Links to other websites. (You may include them in your profile.)
Your email address. (Include it in your profile.)
Information unrelated to the MP.
